This figure shows a DEM of the end of a lava flow situated at the border between
Mare Serenitatis and Mare Imbrium, to the west of the "gap" between Montes
Apenninus and Montes Caucasus. The altitude profile was reconstructed based
on a single image acquired on March 10, 2003.
The image used for 3D reconstruction is shown on the left, the corresponding
synthetic image rendered based on the altitude profile on the right. The average
height of the step-like structure amounts to about 160 m.
